Newly Fallen Leaves

These colorful leaves spark such beautiful memories from my childhood. I can almost smell their scent and dampness. They glisten and sparkle on the ground beneath the newly fallen rain. In my boots, I jump into puddles and run through piles of crunching and crackling leaves beneath my feet. My heart is elated as I rush to the house to drink a newly poured cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows. Oh…what a beautiful childhood memory of “Newly fallen leaves”.
