Harvest

~ Luke 10:2, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” As I drove along the highway this past weekend, I looked at the fields that ran parallel with the road. I noticed these endless, beautiful fields of grain waving to and fro, with their tips of grain shimmering and glistening. The radiant light rippled from one plant to the next calling out to me and my spirit as though they were in unison saying, “We are ready for harvest, where are the workers.” And in the stillness of the moment the answer came from Isaiah 6:8, “Here I am, Lord…~
