~ John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” One of my favorite past times is gardening. There is really something special about being outside, digging in the dirt, planting new plants, nurturing, pruning, and removing the dead leaves and flowers. It is in this caring process that the right conditions are provided so that the plants can become stronger and produce more leaves, flowers, fruits or vegetables. The lesson that gardening has taught me as a child of God, is my need to remain connected to the Jesus. As believers, he is our main source, our all in all. Our connection with Jesus will not just allow us to survive, but to thrive and produce more good fruit so that others may also benefit. I am growing in Christ daily.~
